Printed foil labels with a transparent synthetic resin coating are a true classic. The transparent and glossy coating creates a 3D effect. At the same time, the coating protects the base material and the print, making this variant suitable not only for indoor use but also for outdoor use (for approx. three to five years, depending on exposure).
When applying to curved surfaces, it is necessary to set the coating material to “soft” in order to achieve the required flexibility. The surface feels slightly sticky compared to the harder variants. It is therefore important to discuss the setting of the synthetic resin material before starting production. “Hard” settings have no flexibility and are only suitable for absolutely flat surfaces. We almost exclusively use a medium-hard synthetic resin quality, which is suitable for most applications.
In addition to printing on the base film, we also offer raised embossing or the application of metallic Transcript A.T. lettering on the base film (example: “sable fumé” – digital printing to imitate sand – the text as gold-plated Transcript A.T. lettering).
