After screen or digital printing, printed foil labels can also be partially coated with a transparent and glossy synthetic resin.
This creates a certain three-dimensional effect, reminiscent of real wax seals. This effect can be enhanced by using tone-on-tone colours. Partial coating with transparent synthetic resin opens up interesting options, as demonstrated by the ‘Gaïa’ pattern.
A thin and therefore very flexible metallised film was used for the POINT TO INSPIRE labels. The surface was also screen printed. The black text and transparent structure were made possible by special digital printing.
