Vacuum labels are based on transparent films that are printed on the reverse side. They are then laminated with a suitable adhesive that is matched to the substrate. This structure traps the printing inks between the film and the adhesive. This achieves a high level of resistance to mechanical, chemical and environmental influences. Vacuum labels are considered to be very durable.
Printing can be done either using traditional screen printing or digital printing. BORTUQAL labels combine both printing processes. Digital printing makes it possible to reproduce complex elements (in this case, the orange with leaves) with little effort, which would be very difficult to achieve with screen printing. Digital printing is somewhat weaker when it comes to surface printing. Screen printing is still the first choice for achieving high-quality surfaces, that is why we simply combined both printing processes for this label. The label has a glossy finish because a glossy transparent base film was used. To achieve an elegant matt finish, a matt textured film is simply used as the base.
