Store signs – also known as ‘official agent’ signs – can be found in the entrance areas of specialist shops to inform passers-by and customers that a particular brand is stocked there.
There are many ways to create such signs. The simplest option is printed foil signs. The next level is an additional coating with transparent synthetic resin, which adds a third dimension. Acrylic glass, plastics, aluminium, stainless steel and brass are other possible base materials. Aluminium can also be embossed. They can be attached using self-adhesive strips, chains or holes for screwing. Store signs are also sometimes used for decoration in and on display cases or sales furniture.
